Sacci Pro RAVIN - IRR-treated tactical medical backpack that doesn't stand out under night vision

Untreated fabric can sit and glow in an image intensifier and give away the person carrying it. That is why the fabric, the buckles and the zippers on the RAVIN are IRR treated, also referred to as NIR compliant: the treatment controls the material's signature in the near-infrared band night vision works in, so the pack does not stand out against its surroundings. The outer fabric is Cordura in 700D and 500D, UV resistant, with DWR and PU coating. The Herma buckles are flame retardant and IRR; the YKK zippers are IRR.

RAVIN is built for battle groups and medics treating several casualties at once. It keeps large amounts of medical equipment organised and within reach, and its shape lets the wearer move fast in hard terrain. The pack is chosen in 12, 30 or 50 litres to match the task and is the backbone of the tactical medical range Sacci Pro launched in February 2026. The range also includes the MYRRAND 6-litre hip pack and the TUNDRA IFAK.

The three sizes share one layout, and the 12 L mounts directly onto both the 30 L and the 50 L. The same order runs from the individual's pack up to the vehicle's, so anyone in the group can find the right item in a pack they did not pack themselves. The 12 L weighs 1,550 g and measures 265 x 350 x 125 mm, width by height by depth. Colour is Ranger Green, article number 400903.

The top lid opens clamshell, folding all the way back, so the whole load sits in front of you at once instead of down a tunnel. The YKK zippers have no locking slider, so they run one-handed, fast and quiet. The outside is laser-cut MOLLE in PALS pattern. The carrying straps lock, and a reversible rain and snow cover sits in the bottom compartment.

Accessories are bought separately: the RAVIN Tactical Medical Inner Pouch Set 12 (article number 400918) and two pouches, Pouch S Vertical at 130 x 180 x 75 mm (400908) and Pouch S Horizontal at 230 x 180 x 75 mm (400909).

Sacci Pro has made rucksacks and load-carrying equipment since 1914 and makes them in Borlänge, Sweden, today. Cooperation with the Swedish Armed Forces goes back to the 1930s. In April 2026 FMV, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, awarded Sacci a seven-year framework agreement for load-carrying equipment, shared with six other Nordic suppliers. The company is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

TacDane also brings night vision from Boson Systems to stand U 2324. Ask to have a RAVIN held up in front of an image intensifier.
