Two screens out of the case in under a minute

A temporary command post, a borrowed meeting room or a tent rarely has a two-screen workstation in it. That is usually exactly where the need appears, and a laptop on its own is not enough when a map, imagery and an incident log have to be visible at the same time. The same goes for a team responding to an IT incident.

The Base Case Executive UHD/4K is a carry-on case with two 24-inch UHD screens on telescoping legs. It sets up in under a minute and runs off a single USB-C connection that drives both screens and sends 100 W of pass-through power back to the laptop. The panels put out 540 nits and cover 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space.

One connector is the technical difference that matters in practice. Two external screens normally need a power supply each and a bundle of cables to dig out, lay correctly and pack away again. Here picture and power run through the same cable, and the laptop charges while it works.

For four screens, stack a second case on top of the first. Base Case calls that setup QuadZilla: four screens across two cases, each carried in on its own.

Base Case is developed in Draper, Utah, and was shown at CES 2025. One variant meets the requirements of the U.S. procurement law, the Trade Agreements Act. TacDane is the distributor in Denmark.
