Since 1972, Woolpower has designed and manufactured high-performance wool garments in our own factory in Östersund, Sweden. Today, we are a leading supplier of base and mid-layer clothing systems to defence forces, law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and civil security organisations worldwide. Our product range is built around three proprietary merino wool technologies: Ullfrotté Original, Mesh, and Single Jersey. Together, they provide complete clothing solutions for varying climates, activity levels, and operational requirements.

Ullfrotté Original features a unique terry-knit construction with insulating loops that trap warm air while efficiently transporting moisture away from the skin. Mesh is engineered for high-intensity activities where maximum ventilation and moisture management are essential, while Single Jersey provides a lightweight, soft, and versatile base layer that offers exceptional comfort throughout the year or as part of a layered clothing system.

All Woolpower materials are designed to maximise the natural benefits of fine merino wool—including insulation, temperature regulation, moisture management, and natural odour resistance—while strategically incorporating synthetic fibres to enhance durability and extend garment life. The garments require minimal maintenance and can be machine washed at 60°C.
