Scandinavian Touch AB was founded in 1997 in Sweden with the goal of developing a smart, sustainable, and ergonomic seating solution for outdoor use. The result was Walkstool - today the world’s only three-legged stool with telescopic legs.

Walkstool is our only product and is available in six different seat heights, from 45 to 75 cm. All models are manufactured in our own factory in Sweden, with a focus on quality, functionality, and long-lasting durability.
Since 2025 the company is a member of the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association (SOFF).

A Patented Swedish Innovation
Walkstool is patented and trademarked in multiple countries. The first prototype was developed by an inventor in Lidköping, with a background as an electrician and studies at the Idéum Inventor School in Grimslöv. The combination of technical knowledge and practical experience laid the foundation for Walkstool’s unique design.

Used Worldwide
Approximately 90% of our sales are exports, with Germany and the USA being our largest markets. Walkstool is used for hunting, outdoor activities, and other recreational purposes, as well as by professionals such as electricians, installers, and service technicians who often work in low positions.

By sitting on Walkstool - with or without extended telescopic legs - the knees and back are relieved, while the user maintains a stable and comfortable working posture. It is also used by professional photographers and journalists who need a lightweight and portable tool.

Thanks to its low weight, compact size, extra-large seat, and high quality, Walkstool is suitable for people of all ages. It is used by individuals with disabilities who need a small, light, and reliable aid for resting and has also become a valued tool in military operations.

Tested Quality and Safety
Walkstool is tested by the Swedish Testing Agency. Tests have been conducted regarding maximum load and the strength of components. Walkstool Comfort withstood a maximum load of approximately 490 kg in indoor laboratory tests.
The components have also been tested at temperatures from -30 to +90 °C and at 95% humidity and 38 °C - without any issues. All textile components are tested and free from PFAS.
