SBOM generation for software you didn't build. Langlauf produces a complete Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) from the delivered binary — no source code, no build system, and no cooperation from the supplier required.

Our marker-based binary analysis identifies open source components inside stripped executables, statically linked libraries, firmware images, installers, container images, and virtual machine images. Output is a standard SBOM in CycloneDX or SPDX format, suitable for software supply chain security, vulnerability management, obsolescence management, and compliance documentation.

Typical applications: undocumented legacy software, supplier and subcontractor deliverables, COTS and OEM components, and pre-delivery verification of your own products. Specialised in C/C++ on embedded systems, Linux, and Windows.

Available as a one-off analysis, as an automated SBOM pipeline for new releases, and with optional continuous vulnerability monitoring.

Most SBOM tools need source code, a build system, and cooperation from the supplier who wrote the software. When any of those is missing — legacy systems nobody can rebuild, supplier deliverables, COTS and OEM components — the tools return an empty list.
