Hottinger, Brüel & Kjær

Hydrophones HBK are individually calibrated, waterborne sound transducers designed for underwater recording and listening. They feature a piezoelectric ceramic sensing element permanently bonded to sound-transparent, lead-free rubber, ensuring waterproof and corrosion-resistant construction. Each hydrophone is built with a shielded-element design that provides vibration isolation and is capable of delivering a flat frequency response over a wide range of frequencies. The calibration process ensures that the receiving sensitivity is traceable to international standards, making them suitable for various applications, including marine studies and ultrasonic cleaning.
