Global Offshore Site Assessment (Research Studio)
arrow_backTo the overviewResearch Studio is Weptos' digital assessment platform for rapid evaluation of offshore power generation and operational capability at locations worldwide.
The platform combines global wave and bathymetry data with system configuration and energy demand to calculate expected power production, battery state of charge, energy balance and operational availability within seconds.
Research Studio supports planning of autonomous maritime operations, sensor networks, UAV/UAS missions and remote offshore power nodes.
At DALO Industry Days, the platform will be demonstrated together with an active 1:10 wave basin model, where representative wave conditions from the selected location are automatically transferred to the wave generator, enabling real-time physical demonstration of system behaviour at the chosen site.
