CardLab Access FIDO is a FIDO certified combined physical and digital access card with NFC and BLE communication interface designed for password free biometric access and logon.

The card provides offline Identity verification of the user, ensuring that only authorized users can gain physical access or secure access to digital systems or resources. The card enables Passwordless authentication by replacing weak passwords with secure biometric verification on the offline card. This will prevent almost all synthetic identity attacks.

Biometric fingerprint data is encrypted and stored only on the card so there is no requirement need for databases with biometric data having the inherent hacking risk that goes along with it. With NFC and/or Bluetooth interfaces, Access can serve as the authentication devices for any host platform including tablets, PCs, door locks, machine readers and other terminals. and will provide FIDO logon function without special upgrades to the backend as all is based on authentication API's. Only by presenting the correct, registered finger, can the card and any stored data be activated and prove your identity and release the FIDO logon or access credential.
