arrow_backTo the overviewThe Black Arrow (A244 Mod. 4) Lightweight Torpedo represents the latest upgrade of the world-wide proven A244/S; the torpedo can be easily launched from any surface platform and aircraft. It represents a very important upgrade of the present A244/S Mod.3 allowing to enter the medium - high performance segment of the LWT market. Designed and entirely developed by WASS to be ITAR free, to meet all challenging operational requirements for ASW and to counter the threat posed by both modern conventional submarines. Although derived from WASS expertise on A244/S Mod.3, MU90 and BLACK SHARK HWT with additional technological innovations that make it unique in terms of flexibility, capability and affordability. A244 (Mod. 4) is a MOTS TRL9 and sea proven. A244/S torpedo family have been sold around the world to more than 15 Navies.
