Today, public and media attention is rightfully focused on defence technologies in response to the global security situation. However, alongside its defence portfolio, EVPÚ Defence also offers a wide range of advanced surveillance systems for civilian applications, supporting border and coastal guards, police forces, and other security services.

One of the standout solutions is the SMV surveillance and monitoring vehicle. Equipped with integrated thermal imaging technology, it enables efficient monitoring of persons, vehicles, and other targets—day or night, in all weather conditions, and across challenging terrain - at distances of up to 25 kilometers. Common configurations include a thermal and daylight camera, laser rangefinder, GPS, digital compass, video recording unit, high-performance control SW and display screens, and additional vehicle protection elements such as PIR sensors.

Thanks to the SMV surveillance and monitoring vehicle, a two-person crew can monitor hundreds of square kilometers, significantly reducing demands on personnel and equipment. These mobile units enable rapid incident response and enhance security at critical sites such as national borders, airports, power plants, refineries, and seaports.

Some of EVPÚ Defence's surveillance systems may be mounted on smaller vehicles, such as passenger cars, SUVs or pick up trucks. This kind of solution is known as the RBOX system, which comes integrated into a vehicle roof box. It can be easily dismounted and transferred to another car if needed.

Both products represent cost-effective customizable solutions to modern security challenges.
