Nordic Defence Opportunities in the Space Sector

Join this session where Space Denmark and the Danish Embassies in Helsinki, Oslo, and Stockholm will provide an overview of Nordic initiatives supporting exchange and collaboration in the Nordic space sector. The presentation is relevant for anyone curious about Nordic space opportunities and understanding how to leverage current opportunities in Nordic defence.

Søren Gram Riisgaard, CEO of Space Denmark, will provide an introduction to Space Denmark and the Nordic Innovation-funded project Space Nordic. It is possible to become part of Nordic delegation visits to key international space events, and in his talk, Søren will present opportunities to get involved.

Harri Paldanius is the Nordic Defence Industry Advisor at the Danish Embassy in Helsinki and promotes commercial opportunities for Danish defence companies across the Nordics. Harri will together with consultant Jyri Kosola present the currently ongoing feasibility study “Launching into Nordic Defence Markets: A Feasibility Study for the Danish Space Sector” and introduce the Nordic Space Mingle at stand U 2084 from 15:00 on day 2.
