Targeted Infrared Heating in Grand Historic Building

In the Bethlehem Church in Hannover, we tested our infrared heaters in November and December 2025. The purpose was to investigate the potential of targeted comfort heating in large, historic buildings while simultaneously improving comfort for churchgoers during services.
The test showed that approximately 100 seats could be heated comfortably without using the building’s central heating system. At the same time, energy costs were reduced from an estimated consumption of approx. € 500 with central heating to approx. € 28,80 per event when using SHYN.
The case demonstrates how targeted infrared heating can reduce energy consumption and operating costs in large facilities such as hangars, workshops, warehouses, container facilities, and other buildings with large room volumes.
