Zeppelin Construction Denmark sells and services Caterpillar construction machinery in Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. This includes Caterpillar bulldozers, loaders and excavators that can be used for military purposes.
Zeppelin Construction Denmark is owned by Zeppelin, which is headquartered in Munich, Germany, and has been selling and servicing Caterpillar machinery since 1954. The group currently employs around 12,000 people.
Zeppelin Denmark has entered into a partnership with United Military Services (UMS), under which we jointly sell Cat machinery to the Danish Armed Forces. As part of this partnership, Zeppelin and UMS are able to offer the Danish Armed Forces a range of services beyond simply selling a new machine.
Examples of this include:
• Coding of spare parts
• Further training for armed forces personnel/mechanics
• Supply of standard machines (short lead times)
• Worldwide spare parts delivery via Caterpillar (short lead times)
• Remote control technologies
• Servicing of machines by Danish Zeppelin mechanics in Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland (workshop in Nuuk)
In addition, the Zeppelin Group can offer servicing of
