Nordhavn Power Solutions A/S – Reliable Power Solutions for Defence and Emergency Preparedness

Nordhavn Power Solutions A/S is a Danish specialist in the development, supply and servicing of complete power solutions for maritime and land-based defence applications. We provide robust and reliable solutions for mission-critical applications where high availability, operational readiness and secure power supply are essential.

Based on our extensive experience in the marine and energy sectors, we tailor our solutions to meet the technical, operational and documentation requirements of each project. This includes requirements relating to redundancy, demanding operating environments, long service life, ease of maintenance and a high level of supply security.

Our scope of supply includes complete generator sets for main power, auxiliary power, harbour operation and emergency power, as well as propulsion solutions and gearbox systems. We work with recognised engine manufacturers such as Scania, AGCO Power and Baudouin and can provide solutions based on diesel, HVO and methanol.

We also provide defence engine overhaul and MRO services, including maintenance, repair and overhaul, together with lifecycle support for military engines and powertrain systems. We have particular expertise in Scania-based systems, perform depot-level and workshop-level overhauls, and supply genuine spare parts as well as ongoing technical support for both land-based and naval defence platforms.

From our facilities in Randers, Denmark, we manage the entire process, from engineering, design and technical documentation to system integration, testing, commissioning and subsequent support. Systems can be tested and validated in our own test centre prior to delivery and adapted to relevant classification, regulatory and project-specific requirements.

An extensive inventory of more than 50,000 genuine spare parts, combined with an experienced service team, ensures rapid access to technical support, maintenance, repair and overhaul services. We provide service and support both in Denmark and internationally, helping to maintain equipment availability, operational capability and service life.
