Blakcro design, manufacture and supply military-specification powered paraglider systems, providing the support and training required for successful introduction into service.

Powered paragliders give individual operators an organic air-mobility capability without reliance on complex air assets. They provide SOF operators with a low-signature infil/exfil option, enabling offsets of up to 300km over multiple flights and, if required, self-extraction to a safe area.

Blakcro are the only organisation focused exclusively on designing powered paraglider systems for military use, avoiding the compromises and limitations inherent in adapting consumer or sports equipment.

Our systems are robust, compact and deployable. By working closely with operators, we ensure rapid evolution in response to real-world requirements.

Based in the UK, with state-of-the-art design and fabrication facilities, Blakcro are delivering multiple UK Defence Innovation-funded development projects to further enhance capability.

We hold direct government contracts to supply and support multiple NATO nations.
