Meet Kim Mackenhausen Sørensen at the Globeteam and 7N Booth:
Kim Mackenhausen Sørensen is Founder and Strategic Advisor at Mackenhausen Advisory and the creator of Northern Breakwater™, an AI-powered platform for strategic crisis exercises and decision-making training.

Northern Breakwater is built on more than 25 years of hands-on experience in governance, cybersecurity, risk management, resilience, and organizational preparedness.

Throughout his career, Kim has held international leadership positions, including Global Head of Cyber and Information Security (CISO) at BEUMER Group, Head of Information Security & Enterprise Risk Management at Kamstrup, Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance at TDC Business, and Senior Manager at KPMG. In these roles, he advised some of Denmark’s largest organizations on governance, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and organizational resilience.

Prior to his civilian career, Kim served for 13 years in the Danish Navy Military Police, where he worked with operational missions, crisis preparedness, and decision-making under pressure. This combination of military experience and extensive leadership experience as a CISO, executive, and advisor forms the foundation of Northern Breakwater.
