B&T AG - Swiss weapons and suppressors from one house
arrow_backTo the overviewB&T AG builds both weapon systems and suppressors in-house in Thun, Switzerland. Karl Brügger and Heinrich Thomet founded the company in May 1991, and in its first years it made suppressors. The firearms came later.
The core programme is the APC series: modular submachine guns and carbines. Five calibres on one platform: 9 mm, 10 mm, .40, .45 and 5.56x45. The SPC carbines are also available in 5.56x45. In 2019 the APC9K won the U.S. Army's Sub Compact Weapon program ahead of SIG Sauer among others. It was the Army's first submachine gun purchase in more than 50 years.
Beyond the APC series the programme covers the GHM9 carbine, the MP9/TP9 platform, the SPR300 and Station SIX for low sound signature. The GL06 is a single-shot 40 mm launcher developed for less-lethal police work. The suppressor lines cover pistol, rifle, submachine gun and precision rifle under the names Impuls, PRINT-X and RBS.
Complete weapon systems, suppressors and accessories are built at the Thun facility. The company is certified to ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and 45001.
