Easy and safe locking of large connectors

Manual mating and de-mating of big rectangular connectors often demands two strong hands. The more often the connectors are to be locked and unlocked, the bigger the problem is in terms of ergonomic handling and connectivity safety.
The ODU-MAC® Spindle-Lock can make a big difference for the user. The user can lock and unlock the connector with one hand without a lot of effort.
The user can easily hear and feel when the connector is locked, because the locking mechanism gives a clear ”click” sound, that the user can also feel.
The guide pins ensures that the two connecting parts align during mating so that the electrical contacts are not damaged during the process.
The Spindle-Lock is an individual module of the ODU-MAC® connectors, and it can be replaced, the specified 10,000 matings are not enough.
