Robot Aviation is a Norwegian defence technology company that develops and manufactures advanced unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for surveillance, intelligence, reconnaissance (ISR), and mission support. From our headquarters at Eggemoen Aviation & Technology Park, near Hønefoss, Norway, we design, engineer, manufacture, and support complete UAS solutions entirely in-house.

Founded in 2008, Robot Aviation has grown into one of Norway’s leading centres of competence for unmanned aviation. Our strength lies in combining cutting-edge engineering with extensive operational experience, enabling us to deliver systems that are robust, reliable, and continuously adapted to evolving mission requirements.

Since 2024, Robot Aviation has supported the Norwegian Government by developing, manufacturing, and delivering combat-proven unmanned systems in support of Ukraine. What began as a focused, self-funded effort has evolved into a trusted partnership with both government and defence organisations, demonstrating our ability to rapidly translate operational requirements into reliable fielded capabilities.

Today, Robot Aviation has established a scalable organisation capable of manufacturing, delivering, and supporting hundreds of state-of-the-art ISR systems. Our vertically integrated approach provides full control over development, production, testing, and lifecycle support, ensuring high quality, rapid innovation, and dependable long-term availability.

We do more than supply aircraft. We deliver complete operational capabilities, including aircraft, ground control systems, payload integration, training, logistics, and lifetime support.
