Den samler et fælles operativt billede i realtid, videohåndtering fra flere kameraer, sensortilførsel samt administration af enheder og brugere i én løsning. TAK_OS taler Cursor on Target (CoT) og har et REST-API, så sensorer som Sugarcube 6 og RIDAR-FM leverer data direkte ind i billedet. Platformen arbejder sammen med ATAK, iTAK og WinTAK.
