HEICO-TEC® Tensioning Systems
arrow_backTo the overviewPre-tensioning of bolted joints with a nominal size >M24 requires a preload force that can usually no longer be applied by hand. Tensioning these large bolted joints often requires much higher operator workload and cost for tensioning tools.
The HEICO-TEC® Tensioning System enables an easy, fast and cost-effective solution for particularly large bolt connections by distributing the preload force from the main thread to many smaller pressure bolts.
Instead of applying high torque to a large bolt with expensive tools, the required tension is achieved by tightening smaller pressure bolts. For tightening the smaller pressure bolts, a significantly lower torque is required which can be applied by standard torque wrenches.
HEICO-TEC® tensioning systems are a comprehensive solution designed to enable safe, accurate, and economical tensioning of exceptionally large bolted connections:
HEICO-TEC® Tension Nut
Simple and convenient pre-tensioning of large bolted joints
HEICO-TEC® Tension Nut - Compact Series
The pre-tensioning solution for large bolted joints in confined spaces
HEICO-TEC® Tension Bolts
The 2-in-1 solution for pre-tensioning large bolted joints
HEICO-TEC® Reaction Nuts
The ideal complement for the passive side in through-bolt connections
HEICO-TEC® Expansion Bolts
