Denmark’s largest defence industry trade fair, DALO Industry Days, will move to Herning in 2026. Thanks to a new collaboration between the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO/FMI) and MCH A/S, the fair will take place at MCH Messecenter Herning on 19–20 August.
Since 2016, DALO Industry Days has evolved into Scandinavia’s largest meeting place for the Armed Forces and the defence industry. The event has seen significant growth in recent years and in 2025 gathered more than 700 exhibiting companies and 14,000 participants. This continued development has led to the trade fair now relocating to new surroundings at MCH Messecenter Herning.
The purpose of DALO Industry Days is to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between the Armed Forces and industry through knowledge sharing, networking, and the presentation of solutions and technologies that support the tasks of the Armed Forces. The current security situation has further increased the need for a meeting place like DALO Industry Days, which can support and enhance cooperation between the parties.
At the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (FMI), the collaboration with MCH is met with great anticipation.
“Interest in DALO Industry Days is now so great that we have chosen to move the event to a larger venue, where a highly professional and experienced organisation can handle the execution. I am convinced that the agreement with MCH will ensure an even better experience for both exhibitors and guests,” says Lieutenant General Per P. Olsen, Director of FMI.
MCH expresses gratitude for the trust placed in them and looks forward to bringing their many years of event organisation experience into play for the trade fair.
“We are very pleased and proud of the trust FMI has shown us by choosing MCH as host for DALO Industry Days 2026, which is an important meeting place for the Armed Forces and the defence industry. This trust commits us, and with our many years of experience in planning and executing fairs, exhibitions and major events, we look forward – in close cooperation with FMI – to creating the framework for two valuable exhibition days for the Armed Forces, exhibitors and the industry as a whole,” says Georg Sørensen, CEO of MCH A/S.
The agreement between FMI and MCH A/S includes an option for an additional three years and covers the period 2026–2029.
